The Nith Estuary Haaf Net Fishers Association kindly donated benches to Caerlaverock, Carsethorn and New Abbey – as featured in this previous post.

The inscription on the bench reads: “For our traditions and those gone before”

The details in the design are superb.

All present partook of a dram of whisky to mark the occasion!
