With tremendous thanks to Gerry Donnelly (of Vintage on the Nith) who has researched and compiled this fantastic resource of online ‘things to do’ during this lockdown. We will update it as we (and you!) find other ideas, so do keep coming back! [Edit: We’re already adding to the list!]
Gerry says,
“As you will probably know the web is exploding with things to do during lockdown. I spent a wee hour today checking out some stuff. I am making no great claims for any of the content but there is a starting point for many things here. There is loads more out there. The page could contain for example a Keeping Updated section, a Keeping Occupied section, A Keeping Healthy section etc etc. Just some thoughts.”
If you have any good ideas or suggestions to share, we can add them to this list – which will be a great benefit to others in the same position!
The Arts
Loads of museum and art virtual tours out there and more being created as the lockdown continues. Check the Uffizi in Florence and the Museum D’Orsay in Paris among others.
The art world responds to the lockdown across the globe with virtual tours etc. Digital programmes from art galleries across the world etc. Updated regularly so worth keeping an eye on.
