Alison Robertson, who organises the Nith Inshore Rescue (NIR) fundraising Tote every Monday with Chris Jackson, Neale Lawson and Shirley McKerlie would like to extend special thanks “to the many people in the Nith bar tonight who bought Lucky Dip tickets; sorry you didn’t win this time but thank you for supporting the Nith Inshore Rescue independent lifeboat.  As a non-RNLI boat we rely on our own fundraising efforts and the weekly Tote provides a regular, reliable and very welcome income stream.“
