Dumfries Wild Goose Festival!

This is a multiple partner festival built on the Wild Geese Weekend ran by WWT and Scottish Natural Heritage for the past couple of years. Events will be hosted both at Caerlaverock and in and around Dumfries town centre. The Stove Network had done a great job of designing and coordinating the program which was launched this week.

As part of the festival NatureScot (formally SNH) are doing several drop in events and we are also involved in 2 free guided walks but booking is essential:

  • Riverside Walk – Tuesday 13th October 4pm – 6pm meeting at The Stove
  • Geese over Wardlaw – Friday 9th October 5:30pm – 7:30pm – meeting at Caerlaverock Castle
