A week or two ago, when the sun was shining and the bluebells were out in full force, we had a wee wander up the Wardlaw. We noticed the steep steps over the wall had gone, replaced with a much easier set to climb.
For anybody young, old, or just not able to get their leg over as easy any more (!) – this access means more can come up and see the beautiful Scottish Bluebells that cover the hill (not your overly fancy Spanish ones, mind).

Easier for dogs to climb up and over too!
They might be passing a bit now, but do plan on going up next year, or even just now for a lovely panoramic view over the Solway. (Thanks to Robbie for his hard work!)

Some pink imposters in here! But still very beautiful.
Thanks Robbie that is great work and makes this wonderful place so much more accessible
