Thanks to Neale Lawson, who has details of the much anticipated Veteran Car Rally.
Neale tells us:
“The Scottish Section of the Veteran Car Club of Great Britain, will be having our event over the weekend of the 10th,11th and 12th May. We hope to start from the Quay at about 9.30am on the Saturday and Sunday and I will try to get the cars assembled beforehand so they can be viewed and any questions hopefully answered.
I hope to have three Star cars, a 1908 one being driven from near Southport and our two. In addition we have a 1904 Albion from Cheshire, a 1904 Century from north of Aberdeen, a Singer from near Selby as well as regulars such as a 1901 Progress, 1911 Arrol-Johnston, an Alldays and Onions.
Our Saturday run is via the coast and to Loch Ken and Sunday easterly as far as Eaglesfield.”
We’ll be out with our camera and video equipment nice and early as usual!! Please note the cars will be arriving on the Friday, to be set up for their runs on Sat and Sun….
