We’ve had a lovely message passed to us, from a visitor who in the past had stay several times at a holiday house in Glencaple. She recently got in touch to say how she is sure her mother’s recovery, from a coma after a very serious illness, was helped by hearing our geese.

“One lovely thing was when mum woke up I had been playing her a video of the geese from our visit to Glencaple.  I had played it to her every day and on the 11th day she opened her eyes when I played the geese.

We got our miracle and mum is back. It’s amazing. It’s been a long, long road with lots of set-backs in the early days. She remained in hospital for 4 months but now she’s building up strength and stamina to full capacity. But she’s the mum we know and love.

Doctors are totally amazed by her recovery. It was not expected. There was so little hope for mum – I believe the geese played a part in her recovery. Glencaple is very special for us.”
