Watch the spectacular tidal bore video!

This is the one we spotted coming down the River Nith from the live web-cam at The Boathouse on Glencaple Quay today [see here]. It is also a view from the ground of the very same bore that Bruce Anderson shot from the air – see here!

Our visitors were a little perplexed, but absolutely delighted as we all rushed out the house to reach the river in time to see the fantastic phenomenon!

It may ‘only ‘ be the tide coming in, but the bore doesn’t lose its magic – especially when it’s a super cool one on such a lovely day!
