**UPDATE**

Just a wee reminder about the Shore Clean – if you would like to help come and gather at the Glencaple Quay end for an 11.30 start.

You can of course do your own thing and start whenever you like!

There will be loads of bags, and anyone wanting to borrow pickers and hoops before Sunday can contact Alison on 07815 603322.

The skip is located at Nith Inshore Rescue, you can take your full bags along there if you can, or the usual arrangement is to leave the bags handily in laybys to be picked up by those with large cars, trailers and vans who will put them into the skip too.

Remember to wear bright clothing, and bring your own gloves. Be careful and thank you for taking part!

Excellent news! The Nith Inshore Rescue big Shore Clean is returning for 2023!

Sunday 19th March 2023

Meet at 11.30am at Glencaple Quay End

This is Mothers Day – but it is the best Sunday for the tides. You are very welcome to do a clean up on the Friday or Saturday (or at any time of the year!).

Many thanks to Solway Firth Partnership who have organised to provide a skip, free of charge – it will be located in front of the Nith Inshore Rescue from Friday 17th (collected Monday 20th). **This is for shore clean up waste only** They will also provide hoops and pickers on the day.

If you borrowed some pick-er-up-erers, but aren’t using them, please leave in the phone box at the Quay/ Bankend so that others can.

This is a voluntary activity – we all do it at our own risk. Dress suitably – with hi-vis especially if on the roadsides – gloves also recommended.

See you there!
