We’ve had a nice email from John Bennett that might interest a fair few people here:
“I thought I’d drop you a line to say that my second novel, The Summer Crew, which is set on the salmon nets on the River Spey at the end of 1980s is just out. I worked an oar on one of the summer crews, and the book is a set of mainly funny tales about that time.
I think that there’s lots in there that your members would recognise, and thought I’d let you know.
It’s had a pretty good reception, there was a double page spread in the Sunday Post last weekend.
