Is it going to be closed all of the time?
Thanks to Fred for posting the details of the proposed B725 closures.
The notification is not acceptable because:
1) the duration of the works is excessively long,
2) there are no plans to give notice of when the road will be closed other than by placing signs at the roadside,
3) there are no arrangements for allowing emergency vehicles to use the road,
4) no mention is made of how people who rely on public transport will be assisted,
5) it is unrealistic to expect all vehicles to travel to Dumfries via Clarencefield.
