If you don’t already know the little wild flower speedwell, the beautiful blue flowers are in full bloom just now on our road verges and grassy areas – and they are pretty tiny!
Alison Robertson sent us this stunning photo of a tiny Cocksfoot Moth on a speedwell flower. The moths are only 3-4mm long!
Alison told us that, “During my exercise walk up the Quay Hill this morning I spotted seven of these tiny Cocksfoot Moths on speedwell.”
Keep your eyes peeled – you never know what you might spot if you look carefully!
