‘A wee bird’ sent us these photos of the Veteran’s Garden official opening on Saturday.
Opened by The Lord Lieutenant for Dumfriesshire, Fiona Armstrong, Steven Jackson of Caerlaverock provided the sandstone sign (below).
Based in the beautiful grounds of the Crichton, just up the road in Dumfries, they are ‘a place veterans can come for comradeship a bit of banter and mutual support‘.
