Here’s a really interesting photo of some local people from years gone by, with some additional information too. Can anyone help with identifying anyone else in the picture? 

The photo of 11 adults and 2 boys was probably taken around the early 1920s, and in the corner it is stamped ‘Craik Dumfries’. It was possibly taken at Bankend, with perhaps a mixture of local families – Craiks and Swans. 

Two of the men on the back row were Bob and LLoyd Craik from Bankswood, possibly twins, and the Lady seated on the front row with the light top and light shoes (no hat) is Isabella Millburn Craik, married to George Young. The lady standing behind her on the back row is her sister, Annie Craik, married to William Smith. Isa was born in 1900 and Annie in 1903. Does anybody recognise any other faces?
