Peter Hurst got in touch with this series of photos, which were amongst his late grandparents possessions. They are from when Harold Hurst was Headteacher at Hutton Hall in the 1930s.

In the main image [above], Harold Hurst is the man standing to the right in spectacles. He is buried in the cemetery at Annan with Peter’s grandmother Hilda Hurst, and sons Michael and Alan. Alan was Peter’s Dad.
