The Ask A Friend Cash Access scheme has been extended. For those isolating, it means if you don’t have any cash in the house, you can talk to your bank who can give a voucher code by text to the phone of somebody who is helping you get shopping for example, who can then use this voucher code to cash at the Post Office.

And Lynda Anderson says: “Did you know that if you have a printer at home, and something to weigh your mail on, you can buy postage online and drop in a post box near you? That won’t work for everyone though so we’re very happy to help with postage requests – we have volunteers going into town who can help and have our Barbour Hall Thursday PO service.
