After finding out ideas from folk locally – how to go about Halloween this year – there have been a few suggestions:
- Anyone decorating their house or putting a pumpkin/ traditional Scottish turnip out could let her know the address so she can put a list of participating properties together so people know what houses to look out for
- Kelly will send a list to school for families there and put some on local notice boards and we’ll share a list here and on Facebook too
- Parents can take a wee poke of sweets/ apples/ tablet with them and every house/ lantern their child spots, they get a treat
- If you’d like, you can also pop sweets in a bag and hang them outside on a line or put lollipops stuck in your pumpkin, so if people want to take them they can
Can everyone participating let Kelly know by Thursday morning please, so she can make the list up – and spread the word!
