Alison Robertson found his caterpillar of the Sallow Kitten moth she found on a willow tree near Castle Corner!

“References all say the moth is so called because it is furry like a kitten – but there are plenty of other equally furry moths and I think it’s far more likely to have been named after the caterpillar. It was no more than an inch long!”
