CCA Vice Chair Dougie Anderson went along to see Oliver and David Mundell at their summer surgery a couple of weeks back. Amongst other things, he told them about the 30mph signs that actually start well into the village AFTER the Nith Inshore Rescue Station.

That means traffic could actually legally be doing a full National Speed Limit 60 up to this point – crazy when we have dog walkers, visitors and residents on the road here without pavements.
