A workshop showing how to plan for the wildlife and archaeology features in a woodlot, at the historic Ward Law hillfort, Caerlaverock

Planning woodlot operations with wildlife and archaeology constraints

Join us at Caerlaverock for a day filled with insights, discussions, and practical tips.

This event is your chance to learn about planning woodland management operations in relation to wildlife and archaeology constraints, with well known expert Stuart Spray of Stuart Spray Wildlife Consultancy and local woodlotter Andy Brown.

There will be an initial indoor session with tea and coffee at the Hutton Hall at Bankend, and the majority of the day will then be spent out on site at Caerlaverock Estate looking at practical examples of wildlife and archaeology constraints in relation to woodland management and at how these can be managed and navigated successfully to maximize the potential of your woodlot. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with experts and fellow enthusiasts!
