Following a petition signed by many Bankend residents. the Council have agreed to this public meeting at which Ms Karen Brownlie, their Interim Assistant Director Transport and Infrastructure, will attend, together with the Council’s Roads Manager.

The Council would like to outline their policies with the repairs and maintenance of the local roads but this will also be an opportunity for anyone who wishes to raise any issues about the poor, and in places dangerous state of our roads, to do so.

Please try and attend if you can and ideally bring any photographs and locations of serious potholes as evidence of the scale of the problem around the Caerlaverock area.
