The Dumfries Half Marathon will be coming our way on Sunday 23rd September 2018. 

Keep a look out on the roads around Caerlaverock from the back of 11am to around 3pm, as runners will be leaving the Crichton then. There will also be marshalls and spectators to be aware of. Whether you’re cheering them on or travelling through the parish, keep your eyes peeled!

Dumfries Running Club invites you to run the 37th Dumfries Half Marathon on Sunday 23rd September 2018. This years race also doubles up as the West District Championship for the distance.

‘Runners of all levels enjoy spectacular scenery and stunning views.’

The course starts in the Crichton grounds then runs along Bankend Road, down past the Canine Rescue Centre at Dovecotewell and along the Shore Road into Glencaple. From there, it turns back up Church Street and on to the War Memorial (lots of cheering on the hill!) before heading back to the finish line at the College.
