This bulletin outlines planned works for the next two weeks. Please remember that these works may be subject to change or postponement at short notice, depending on weather conditions and/or emergency maintenance repairs. Works that can’t proceed will be rescheduled for a new date – and updates provided in a future bulletin.

Roadside Verge and Hedge Cutting Programme Underway

Our annual verge and hedge cutting programme is now underway on all A and B class roads across each ward and will continue until the end of September, potentially into October depending on the weather and progress. As the work is carried out on a rolling basis, we are unable to provide exact dates for individual roads. Our crews follow planned routes and maps, but daily progress can be affected by factors such as weather, traffic and the amount of cutting needed at each location. This flexible approach allows us to make the best use of available resources and keep as much of the road network maintained as possible over the coming months.
