Dumfries and Galloway Council are coming to each ward to find out our priorities…
“That grass never gets cut!”
“The weeds along our street are a joke.”
“We would like another bin near the shop.”
“Our village never sees a street-sweeper”
Do you want the chance to have your say and influence the delivery of ‘Streetscene’ services in your community including grass cutting, grounds maintenance and street cleansing? If the answer is yes, come along to our Community Conversations, held throughout March and April across the region.
The first events take place tomorrow (20 March) in Newton Stewart, Colvend and Annan. We have dates in the diary for all Wards though. See https://crowd.in/AfonSq to find out when we’re coming to a town or village in your area.
These informal events allow you to not only have your say on what’s important to you, they allow you to find out how you can become involved in Streetscene and the benefits of doing so.
Nith Ward’s (that’s us) ‘Community Conversation’ will be on
25th March 2019
1pm to 3.30pm (drop in)
and 5pm to 7.30pm
at Noblehill Community Centre
