It’s that time again, when the smell of apples cooking wafts around Caerlaverock – what will you make? A crumble? Or an Eve’s pudding? or …. sorry we are getting a bit carried away here, but we love apple recipes.

Alice Cochrane from Caerlaverock Primary has been in touch to say:

“We have picked our cooking apples; could you please put a note up on the community website for anyone to take from the black boxes outside the school? If anyone wants to make a donation, they can pop it into our post box.”

We’ve just done that then, so you know where to go if you are in the mood for an Apple Pie, Cobbler, French Apple Tart, Apple Chutney, Dorset Apple Traybake or even a sticky Toffee Apple Pudding.
