Caerlaverock Primary School 40th Anniversary, in Photos!

Happy Birthday school, and happy holidays all! 

“Forty years ago, in 1979, Glencaple and Hutton Hall Primaries joined forces in the “new, school of the future” in Glencaple.

On the evening of Wednesday 3^rd April, we opened the door to the local community, past and current, pupils, parents and staff to join in the ‘Look back at Caerlaverock Primary’ evening, where we shared memorabilia, photographs, jotters, books and news.

The Parent Council provided an array of refreshments, while many memories were shared, and people caught up with one another’s lives.

The evening was a huge success, with approximately two hundred who came to share in the celebrations.

A big thank you goes to everyone for handing in their memorabilia and photographs, as well as the continued support of the school.

The Parent council have gifted a teddy bear to all pupils as a memento of the celebrations.  We are selling tea-towels, with the children’s drawings, and cotton bags for life, with the school badge – for £5 each.  Tea towels and bags are available from the school.”
