Thanks to Suzanne at SNH/ NNR Caerlaverock for filling us in:
“At the moment our nature reserves remain open, but as of this week only to pedestrian and cycle traffic, the car parks are closed.
As a result of the latest advice from the UK and Scottish Governments, we have taken the decision to close public facilities, including visitor centres, toilets, and car park facilities, on our National Nature Reserves across Scotland for the health and safety of both staff and visitors.
If you live locally you can still access the reserve for your daily visit outdoors.
Please do not take your car or any other motor vehicles, and follow social distancing guidelines set out by the government.”
