Thank you to everyone who has sent in photos for the Caerlaverock Calendar 2021 – in case you have been out and about in the area and taken a few yourselves, but haven’t sent them in yet, here is the last call for them!

This is a going to again be a photo calendar, although we would like to feature illustrations and drawings in a future calendar – watch this space! Photos should be of anything views or objects within, or related to, Caerlaverock. Please no identifiable people though. Yes we know Criffel isn’t Caerlaverock but it’s a well known feature so it’s allowed :)

This year’s calendar will again be A4 for posting, as many of your requested this. We’ll advise when it is ready to buy!

SENDING YOUR PHOTOS

Send by Wednesday 25th November 5pm please, as we will start creating it that evening.

Hi res originals, whether from phone or DSLR, so they will be sharp. Use wetransfer.com or mailbigfile.com if they are large, or you have a lot of them to send.

Please tell us what the photo is of (and location) if possible, as we also had comments that people would like to know what the views are of.

(Sending photos attached to email is fine, as long as you make sure they are not reduced in size by your email system. Google will help you here!)

Sending via Facebook messenger is not suitable as it reduces the quality.

Photos must be yours, or if sending on behalf of someone else, you have permission for them to be reproduced.

We may not be able to use every photo sent to us for reasons of space or print quality, but appreciate all submissions we do get.
