A souper recipe from the brilliant Caerlaverock Allotment Cookbook. Sue Greig has been trying out another new recipe! And it looks delicious – what a colour!

It’s not a soup we’ve ever made (nor tasted) before, but we do have an allotment beetroot or two still hanging on, despite the frost and snow!

This is just one mouth-watering soup recipe of many in the cookbook – it is available to buy from The Boathouse on Glencaple Quay, or through Gerry at Vintage on the Nith (or directly through Sue, who can post at cost).
