From the Barbour Hall:

“It was great to see so many of you at the community lunch today! We hope those who stayed to see the film enjoyed that too.

There was such a lively atmosphere and it was wonderful to have such good company. We had a great time chatting and catching up with each other and meeting new neighbours. Thank you to everybody who contributed to the delicious spread of soup, cakes, scones, biscuits, sandwiches and even a box of chocolates which we saved for next time. (At least we hope it’s still there next time.)

We’ve decided to make these lunches a regular monthly affair – they will now be held on the THIRD Thursday of the month at 12 noon.

(Please note that the previously published date on the 26th of January is cancelled due to another booking at the hall, so it will be held on the Thursday 2nd February instead)
