Do you fancy growing your own tatties, sprouts, parsnips and carrots for the Christmas table? Turnips or pumpkins for Halloween? Maybe growing strawberries, currants and all manner of summer fruits? Or trying your hand at home grown salad crops, sweetcorn, sunflowers, sweet peas and all other plantings good for, and close to your heart?!

There is a half plot available at Caerlaverock Community Allotments – just £15 a year. It’s an organic site, with fresh water taps – situated behind the Barbour Hall (opposite the school) in Glencaple. You must live in Caerlaverock or have strong ties here.
