Talk: Recording Wildlife – How to do it and why it is important?

Friday 19th May : 7.30pm, Mill on the Fleet, Gatehouse of Fleet

Biodiversity loss is a global crisis. The first steps required to address it is to record and monitor local wildlife, but you don’t need to be a scientist or expert – everyone can contribute, and just a few minutes recording wild plants and animals each week whilst gardening or walking can make a big difference. Peter Norman from South West Scotland Environmental Information Centre will show you some of the species already recorded, how the information has been used, and how you can get involved.

Talks £2 (Under 16s free)
No advance booking – tickets on the door.
