Suzanne McIntyre (Operations Officer, Southern Scotland, Scottish Natural Heritage) has been in touch to let us know that they have scheduled a bridge strengthening on the reserve in Castle Woods – this was going to take place in April, but has been brought forward to this week!
From 9.00am Tuesday 13th March – 12.00pm Friday 16th March,
the first bridge on the Castle Woods path from the Castle Corner car park end will be closed i.e. no access beyond the bridge to the hide or through to the woods.
Suzanne has made sure there is signage down on the reserve from first thing this morning.
If there is a reduced time period for this work, we’ll let you know.
