The local Nith Estuary Haaf Netter Association is fighting hard to preserve our ancient way of fishing.
Having met with Joan McAlpine MSP recently and been encouraged by her response, we have had positive communication with Oliver Mundell MSP through emails.
As yet Collin Smyth MSP has yet to get back to us.
This week we had a good meeting with Mr Finlay Carson MSP.
We were heartened by the fact we have someone local actually on this review committee.
