As you my have read in the CCA Minutes, we are making a change to the Quarterly Newsletter which used to be distributed to everyone in Caerlaverock.
Hilary Roberts has kindly agreed to continue to produce a paper ‘newsletter’ – but in more of a ‘poster’ format which will be pinned to the local noticeboards and which can also be printed out and shared by (and to) family/ friends/ neighbours.
We are asking you to contribute your events/whatever might be happening/ important news/ thanks etc. for the July edition (number one!) – things that will be locally relevant in July/beginning of August.
The deadline for submissions will be the 25th of each month. This should leave enough time for Hilary to assemble and organise everything to get it printed and in place for start of the next month.
It takes little contributions from lots of people to create a great community!
We will also try to streamline communications by just using our Facebook page or our email address: caerlaverockcommunity@gmail.com for all submissions etc. [the separate newsletter email will no longer be in use]. Please use ‘NEWSLETTER’ as/ in your title, if you can! Hilary can still be contacted by phone: 01387 770 147. If you know contributers who aren’t online, it would be good if you could let them know!
We are also looking for a catchy title for the ‘new newsletter’!
