If you haven’t already, get yourself down to Glencaple Quay to see the wonderful tall ship La Malouine before she sets sail for Ireland at the end of the month!
Roy Kerr, captain of the ship, will be more than happy to show off all his hard work (with help from his able team of volunteers) that has been put into renovating La Malouine to her former glory!
If you’re lucky, he will give you a guided tour where you’ll hear all his super sea-faring stories and adventures! You may even get to pretend you’re a pirate at the helm! OOooO AHhhhRrr!
We’ll not give the game away – but below are a few photos to whet your appetite!
While you’re here, why not have an icecream, or a wee cuppa and a goodie, or something for lunch at the Caerlaverock Tearoom, or perhaps a light snack or delicious evening meal at the Nith Hotel.
Just a few miles south of Dumfries, we are along a lovely cycle route, or river-side walk on a summery day in the summer holidays!
