Nith Inshore Rescue has been nominated by Nationwide Building Society in Dumfries for a charity award.
All you have to do to cast your vote is drop a blue token into the Dumfries Nationwide Branch’s charity box – in the ‘Nith Inshore Rescue’ tub! You will see it ahead of you and to the left as you enter the premises (see photo below).
The Nationwide is on Church Crescent – at the Burn’s Statue.
The other charities in the running are in Peebles, Galashiels and Carlisle. The charity with most votes will win the £500 top prize, this would be a fantastic boost to the NIR new build process! They really do need as many people to pop into the branch as possible – you don’t have to be a customer to take part!
Voting began on 01 February 2016 and end on 29 April 2016.
The Nith Inshore Rescue is an independent charity run by volunteers; the unpaid crew are on call 24/7/365. It is a charity close to many of our hearts.
Why not nip into the Dumfries Nationwide branch while you’re in town – it only takes a moment, and every vote is very much appreciated!
A little more information from the Nationwide Community Match Scheme:
‘WHAT IS COMMUNITY MATCH?
Nationwide customers have nominated Nith Inshore Rescue to feature in their Community Match Scheme. Community Match is our in-branch local charity voting scheme. Each quarter our branches feature 3 local charities/community organisations from customer nominations.
You will receive a £100 donation for being shortlisted to feature in the community match voting scheme. Should you receive the most votes at the end of the voting campaign then you will receive an additional £500.’
Please vote for the Nith Inshore Rescue!
