We are holding a Race Night at the Barbour Hall on the above date and are looking forward to inviting you all to another great community event. All profits will go towards allotment improvements and a contribution will also be made to a homeless charity in Dumfries.

The event will include 9 races, a raffle, a bar, music and dancing. To book either an individual place or a table (4,6,8 or 10) contact Agnes Mackenzie on either 07434901492 or agnesmckenzie@outlook.com. Tickets are likely to go fast and are FREE.

Local businesses are invited to sponsor a race for £25 by contacting Gerry Donnelly on gerryd446@gmail.com or 07749038152. Raffle prizes can also be handed in to Gerry at the shop (Vintage on the Nith) at weekends or to his home (Penmarric, Wellington Street). Horses can also be sponsored for each race and further details about this and the event will follow in later posts. Thank you in anticipation of your support.

It promises to be a great event, an opportunity for a wee flutter and to relax and have a drink with your neighbours in a friendly setting.
