On Friday the 3rd of March our school celebrated World Book Day. Some people came dressed as their favourite character such as Miss Trunchbull, The Hungry Caterpillar, Matilda, Alice in Wonderland, and Where’s Wanda?
Throughout the day we had lots of fun activities going on such as a World Book Day Quiz, Pin the Title on the Book, Treasure Hunt with Book Characters, make up our own ‘story in a tray’, and one other one for homework: we had to put things in a box related to a book and our classmates had to guess what the book was.
At break time we all had a teddy bear picnic and Mr Tennant transformed into a storyteller! This World Book Day was definitely a success and we hope for another one like it next year.
