HELLO! THEY ARE NOW IN STOCK!

In total there are 67 we know of left in stock as of typing this, shared between thr Boathouse, Nith Hotel and Vintage on the Nith. Last year they all sold out, so if you want to get one you know what to do!

The size this year is A4, so it will make for much easier posting. The production cost is around the same, so they will be £10 each, as before.

WHERE TO GET THEM?

The Boathouse and The Nith Hotel have both kindly said they will continue to stock them, so please go there to purchase. Plus Gerry’s new shop Vintage on The Nith has them too! You can buy as many as you like – that’ll be Christmas sorted for friends and family – a very easy yet special present we reckon.

SPONSORSHIP?

We had planned to have each month sponsored, but not all the months had been “sold” so we’ll pick up on this next year. Thank you to everybody who had agreed, if you are still willing to sponsor next year’s calendar that would be great. As it was David Logan’s idea last year, we have a small dedication to him on this 2020 edition.

PHOTO SUBMISSIONS

We were also going to have a competition to choose each month’s photo, but we got so many super submissions that we thought we would just feature a photo or two from everybody who sent us in their pics.

One of the reasons for this was because phone images that were too small to go large, yet they were still great photos – a bit of a dilemma.

So the solution was to create a composite image for each month which included several photos. Many more photos to look at each month now!

The actual photos we have used are a great mix of Caerlaverock landscapes, wildlife, farming, some old photos too, especially one that will get most of you head scratching!  We’ve tagged each photo with the photographer’s names – and thank you to the anonymous contributors too.

CHARITIES

Charities last year were decided by David Logan and ourselves at the CCA, this year we have asked the Kirk to choose the recipients of funds raised.  Last year at the presentation we raised nearly £50 to help with printing costs, thank you to those that donated.
