Come and take a walk with Adam, our Reserve Officer along the woodland trail and Flooders reedbed by Caerlaverock NNR merse. If you want to experience the reserve’s wilderness comfortably: waterproof and walking boots are a must, binoculars and hot drink flask are a plus. This is a free event. Booking is not essential.
Meet at Caerlaverock Castle Corner Car Park (NY0185765222). DG1 4RU.
Access to the NNR is signposted off the B725 road south from Dumfries to Glencaple/Bankend. To access the reserve turn off the B725 south of Glencaple. The car park has a 2.1m height restriction barrier.
