Get yourself along to the shop at Glencaple Quay and help yourself to some local Bramleys (free of change!). Two local gardeners have handed some in for us all to enjoy – thanks to Davie Watson and Margaret Irvine!
Whilst you’re there, go and buy a few groceries – there’s a fair selection (including jam sugar – bramley apple jam anyone?)!
What’s the saying? Buy local – use them or you lose them…
We’re having bramley apple crumble for pudding tonight with Cream o’ Galloway ice cream from the shop – thank you Margaret and Davie!
