Wondering what the noise was, had a look out the window to see The Baildon Scooter Club from West Yorkshire arriving for a ‘wee stop off’ at Glencaple Quay this morning, before continuing on their way through Caerlaverock on their way home from their weekend in Ireland!
The 15 members of the club, plus back-up driver, set off on Thursday and rode to the Gathering of the Clans Scooter Rally in Portrush in Northern Ireland through horizontal rain (from Penrith to Stranraer!).
They camped over the first night as planned but bailed out of camping again due to the weather. It didn’t dampen their spirits though!
