***UPDATE – DOG OWNERS FOUND!***
5 year old Basil has now been reunited with his owners. He loves to visit the primary school, so it looks like that was where he was heading!
Many thanks to Jackie Clark for looking after him and keeping us posted! And to everyone who shared the post on Facebook!
Jackie Clark in Glencaple found a small dog in the village this morning. After asking around, nobody seemed to recognise it…
It is currently being looked after at the Canine Rescue just outside Glencaple (going towards Bankend).

It’s quite possible that it belongs to someone from outside the Caerlaverock area, so please share this to with your friends who may recognise the dog.
We will keep you posted if we hear any news. Fingers and paws crossed.
