Are you aware of the government scheme to offer homes and businesses a subsidised satellite broadband connection if you are currently unable to obtain an affordable broadband service of at least 2 Mbps?
This may well include homes in and around Caerlaverock – and could make the world of difference if you’re bothered by really slow internet speeds.
There is a 12 month contract, where you will still have to pay for the service, and any extra features, but it may be an option worth investigating if you’re fed up of the wait for ‘superfast’ broadband.
