Miss Cochrane from Caerlaverock Primary School has let us know that: “We have cooking apple trees in our playground. The children are heading outside (while it’s dry) to pick apples, which we will put in boxes and leave at the school gates. If anyone in the community wants to help themselves, they are more than welcome to do so.”

Time to get some apple crumbles on we reckon!
