Caerlaverock Community Association has purchased 2 more dog-poo bins – one in Bankend and one on the Quay Hill (leaving Glencaple towards the Bankend Road). This is, unfortunately, in response to the amount of dog poo that has been left lying on the road verges – making it treacherous and dangerous when trying to stand away from traffic.

This will make it even easier to ‘Keep Caerlaverock Beautiful’ (and show your respect for your fellow walkers, and the environment). 

The bins will be emptied by local volunteers – with thanks.

Dog owners have a responsibility to ensure that their dogs are not a nuisance. Our Community Safety Team are authorised to issue a fixed penalty for dog fouling offences.
