Scotland’s Business Awards returned to the Cairndale Hotel in Dumfries where they featured the top retail businesses from across Dumfries and Galloway. Guests found out first hand who won in the regional categories.

And we are absolutely delighted to hear that Galloway Food Service, who supply the Nith Hotel in Glencaple won in the Best Butchers category! Congratulations to Melissa and the Galloway Food Service team! Well done and well deserved!

Melissa took over the business 12 years ago; her Dad, Keith Houliston started it back in 1982. Joan and family are very proud of Melissa and said that Keith would be so proud too.   

Winning businesses have the option of attending next years Grand Final in Glasgow.
