SUMMARY:Caerlaverock Cycle Ride
DESCRIPTION:Cycling Dumfries are delighted to join WWT\, Nith Life and NatureScot\, to host this guided wildlife ride to WWT Caerlaverock\, taking in Caerlaverock National Nature Reserve and the river Nith along the way.\nThe ride is around 20 miles – but with plenty of stops on the way to look out for wildlife and take in the sights and sounds of the Nith and the estuary. \nEach group will be accompanied by a wildlife expert as well as a ride leader and we’ll stay in small groups. The ride involves an opportunity for refreshments at WWT Caerlaverock. \nPlease bring your own binoculars and snacks/drinks for the ride. \nFamilies welcome\, although given the length of the ride overall (20 miles)\, we recommend this ride is only suitable for those aged 10 or over. \nThis event is part of the Wild Goose Festival. \nTerms & Conditions\nWednesday 23rd October 10am – 1pm \nThis event is free but please call WWT Caerlaverock to book on 01387 770200. \nDue to the length of the ride (20 miles)\, the age limit is restricted to 10+.
